Buoyed by the success of the series of high-performance indoor meets this winter in the House of Track, Vin Lananna has plunged into final preparations for the USATF Indoor and World Indoor Championships in the Oregon Convention Center.
The USATF Indoor takes place March 11-12.
The World Indoor will be held March 17-20.
Lananna, president of the TrackTown USA local organizing committee, isn't somebody to sit still and bask in past achievements.
I talked to him yesterday, and here are some tidbits of note about the upcoming championship meets:
-- The Portland Indoor Classic will be a high school indoor meet to be held on the same days and same track as the USATF Indoor Championships.
