Gabe Ovgard's feel-good story has reached another milestone, as Oregon State has put the safety from Klamath Falls on scholarship starting this fall.

Ovgard, who began his career as a scout-team receiver, was thrust into duty down the stretch last season because of numerous injuries and struggles in the secondary. And he took advantage of the opportunity, picking up 23 tackles, one interception and one pass breakup while starting the final two games of the season.
