Oregon State junior sixth man Victor Robbins has been dismissed from the basketball team. Per Connor Letourneau of The Oregonian, Robbins could not meet the established standards that would put him back on the team.
Beavers head coach Wayne Tinkle addressed Robbins and what the next step would be.
“Our No. 1 priority is making sure Victor finishes out the semester strong,” Tinkle added. “We’ll do whatever we can to make sure he finds the right school.”
Robbins was doing well as the sixth man for Oregon State last season, averaging 10.3 points per game off the bench, but then was suspended 10 games for a “violation of athletic department policy.
