UCLA Pulls Away From OSU In Second Half

LOS ANGELES – Oregon State went toe-to-toe with No. 10 UCLA into the second half on Sunday before the Bruins pulled away for a 78-60 victory in a Pac-12 game at Pauley Pavilion.

Sophomore guard Stephen Thompson Jr. scored 18 points and sophomore center Drew Eubanks added 13 points and seven rebounds for the Beavers (4-22, 0-13). Redshirt freshman guard Kendal Manuel and freshman guard JaQuori McLaughlin added nine points each.

The Beavers hung with the Bruins (23-3, 10-3) for much of the first half and took a 27-24 lead on a 3-ball by McLaughlin with 2:39 remaining before the break.
