The Oregon Ducks lost the Civil War, a head coach and two four-star prospects over the past week, while the Oregon State Beavers rode a wave of momentum out on in-home visits.
But Oregon State's luck avoiding bad news ended Wednesday afternoon, as 6-foot-4, 200-pound speedy wide receiver Tyler Asemota announced he was decommitting from the Beavers in order to check out other options.
"Much respect to the entire coaching staff at Oregon State," he wrote. "I truly appreciate them for believing in me to start with and giving me an opportunity to play at their university.
