The Oregon State Beavers football coaching staff is using every tool at its disposal to catch up to the rest of the Pac-12 Conference – satellite camps, international talent, building pipelines in talent-rich states and more.
A few of those tools came together Sunday in the commitment of Sherman Oaks Notre Dame High School (California) wide receiver Tyler Asemota, a 6-foot-4, 195-pound receiver who ran a 10.73 100-meter race and 21.58 200-meter time.
He made his announcement on Twitter, choosing the Beavers over offers from BYU, Fresno State, Hawaii, Montana, San Diego State, Wyoming and others:
Proud To Announce That I Have Verbally Committed To OREGON STATE UNIVERSITY!
