Saturday is a unique day of college football in the Willamette Valley. With Oregon hosting Nebraska at 1:30 p.m., and Oregon State hosting Minnesota at 7, both of the state’s Pac-12 programs are playing marquee nonconference games against Big Ten competition, with start times staggered enough that an enterprising fan could attend both. And that’s what The Oregonian/OregonLive reporter Andrew Greif is doing. Throughout the day, Greif will file dispatches from a full day of football, finding unique perspectives surrounding the action. Follow along here as new updates are posted.
On Sunday night, Randy and Jill Neeman will board a plane from the Willamette Valley and begin the long trip to Puerto Rico.
