CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State track & field team heads to Hayward Field on Friday for the Oregon Twilight meet, its final competition before the Pacific-12 Conference championships.
The Beavers will send most of their top competitors to the meet, which begins at 1:30 p.m. A handful will be withheld from action to prepare for Pac-12s, set for May 14-15 in Seattle.
OSU’s objectives this weekend are threefold: To keep the momentum of an excellent season going; to prepare for Pac-12s by compete against quality competition in championship-like atmosphere, and improve season-bests to attain more NCAA qualifying times or marks.
