Trevorris Johnson, former TCU running back, joining Oregon State as graduate transfer

Oregon State is set to add former TCU running back Trevorris Johnson as a graduate transfer.

Johnson indicated his decision to commit to the Beavers on his Twitter account Saturday. He's been on campus this weekend for a visit, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.

Johnson will be eligible for the 2017 season, adding immediate depth behind Beavers starter Ryan Nall and backup Artavis Pierce. Johnson, who has a 5-foot-11, 226-pound frame and powerful running style, totaled 789 career yards on 137 attempts (5.8 yards per carry) with eight touchdowns at TCU.

Beavers coach Coach Gary Andersen's consistently speaks about the importance of having three reliable running backs.
