Trevor Larnach Makes MLB Debut

DETROIT – Outfielder Trevor Larnach made his Major League debut on Saturday, becoming the 38th Oregon State player to compete at the game's highest level.

Larnach, a 2018 All-American for Oregon State, batted in the fifth spot of the lineup, and played in left field at Detroit. He went 0-for-4 but was hit by a pitch and also robbed of potential extra bases on a ground ball in his second at bat.

Larnach and the Twins were due to play against former Oregon State left-hander Matt Boyd on Sunday, but the game was rained out.
