Tres Tinkle, Drew Eubanks lead Oregon State to 'gut check' win over Washington at Pac-12 men's tournament

LAS VEGAS -- The 2018 Pac-12 men's basketball tournament was billed by those familiar with the league as the year where it felt like anything could happen.

But even the thought of Tres Tinkle being at the line in the final seconds of overtime Wednesday night felt too outlandish.

The Oregon State forward played 43 minutes. About 40 of those were accompanied by a limp. He had one point and four missed shots coming into the second half.

Yet after Drew Eubanks gave Oregon State a three-point lead with 10 seconds left, and UW's David Crisp oddly elected to try to drive for a two and contact instead of a tying three, Tinkle found himself at the line with the Beavers up by a point with two seconds left.
