Oregon State sophomore forward Tres Tinkle was cleared Thursday to return to all basketball activities by his surgeon and the school medical staff, men's basketball coach Wayne Tinkle told The Oregonian/OregonLive.
Tinkle, the Beavers' returning leading scorer and rebounder, has been able to workout in limited capacity with the team since it officially started practice on Oct. 3. The decision Thursday came following a checkup with his foot specialist in Eugene.
The 6-foot-8 forward broke his right foot during a practice on March 1, missed the remaining five games of the year and underwent surgery in April, where his surgeon inserted a screw into injured foot.
