It looked like the Oregon State Beavers were in perfect position to end their road losing streak and continue building momentum into Pac-12 play.
The Beavers had cut Nevada's lead to 37-35 in the closing minutes. They had converted twice on fourth down on their final drive and had managed the clock and their timeouts well enough for Conor Blount to kneel the ball at the middle of the field to give Jordan Choukair a straight-on look at a 34-yard field goal with four seconds left.
But Choukair's kick went wide left as the clock hit 0:00, and the Beavers' road woes continued on Saturday night in Reno.
