Tinkle nets career-high 26 in win over UTSA

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State men's basketball team completed an undefeated opening weekend on Sunday with a come-from-behind, 72-64 victory over Texas-San Antonio before a crowd of 4,070 at Gill Coliseum.

Sophomore forward established career-highs in points (26) and assists (4) and added 12 rebounds in a sterling all-around performance. It was his second double-double of the weekend; he had 20 points and 15 rebounds in a 78-58 win over Prairie View A&M in Friday night's season-opener.

Tinkle twice had scored 23 points, the last time at Oregon on Feb. 20, 2016. He was 7-of-18 from the field and 11-of-16 from the foul line, and also had two blocked shots and two steals.
