Thompson Jr. burns Buffs for career-high 26

Box Score BOULDER, Colo. – Oregon State sophomore guard Stephen Thompson Jr. scored a career-high 26 points on Thursday night but it wasn't enough as the Beavers fell 85-78 to Colorado at the Coors Events Center.

Thompson Jr. was 10 of 16 from the field and had six rebounds and three assists in his fourth 20-point game of the season and the fifth of his career. His previous career best was 25 points, against UCLA on Dec. 30.
