A couple things ...
-- I watched Vernon Adams play in the East-West Shrine All-Star Game yesterday, and he was spectacular.
There will be questions about his viability as a NFL quarterback because of his height, said to be 5 feet, 11 inches by the University of Oregon's roster, but probably shorter than that.
The NFL likes the Cam Newton prototype, big, tall, strong, able to see over linemen from the pocket.
But the NFL also like playmakers. Adams is nothing if not a playmaker.
I think he will stick somewhere. If Drew Brees can play at a high level for 15 professional seasons, and if Doug Flutie could start and star in the NFL, there is a place for Adams.
