Well, this is it. Oregon State’s 52-23 loss at No. 21 Washington State was the last Beavers game I'll cover for The Oregonian/OregonLive, which means this is my final edition of The Morning After. And, as always, there’s plenty of elements to digest that did not make it into our postgame coverage.
1. Obviously, the most important thing is Luton is OK. But if the injury is indeed what his father, Judd, posted on social media, Darell Garretson appears to be the Beavers starting quarterback for the rest of the season. He’s obviously an experienced player. But it will be interesting to see how the offense adjusts with him back behind center, given the Beavers adjusted parts of the downfield throwing attack to fit Luton's arm strength.
