Oregon State lost 15-14 to No. 20 Stanford on Thursday night in a nationally televised matchup.
On one hand, it could go down as one of the more brutal losses in recent OSU memory. On the other, the Beavers were a late turnover away from one of the biggest upsets of the season and look like a new team under Cory Hall. If Hall works his way into contention to be long-term head coach, the game could mark a turning point.
More on that soon.

My game story on how OSU processed watching a signature victory suddenly pivot into the cruelest of losses.
