Welcome back to The Morning After, a piece I'll write after every Oregon State game this season once I've gotten a night of sleep. Sometimes it takes a bit to digest certain games. Sometimes things get left out of our postgame coverage because they don't fit various story angles. Sometimes there's just more to look at. I'll dump the rest of my notebook here.
Anyway, the Beavers fell 30-23 at Minnesota Thursday night in a contest they had a chance to win in the fourth quarter. It was the 10th consecutive loss for the Beavers and continued their drought against Power 5 opponents (they haven't beaten a major-conference foe since upsetting Arizona State at Reser in mid-November of 2014).
