In-state recruiting has become a major priority for both the Oregon Ducks and Oregon State Beavers, particularly in the class of 2018, as the state boasts a record-setting six four-star prospects on 247Sports.
So far, Oregon has landed two of those six prospects - Lake Oswego offensive tackle Dawson Jaramillo and Tigard athlete Braden Lenzy - and Washington snatched up Jesuit running back Trey Lowe.
That leaves three four-star prospects uncommitted - Crescent Valley athlete Talanoa Hufanga, South Medford wide receiver Chase Cota and Central Catholic defensive end/outside linebacker Eli'Jah Winston.
