For the second straight year, Golden Eagles (Marquette Alumni) will be playing in the TBT final.
Led by 23 points and 7 rebounds from Jamil Wilson (Marquette), Golden Eagles held a four-point lead at the break and found a way to hold on through the Elam Ending for a 79-70 victory over Red Scare (Dayton Alumni).
Through the contest, a wealth of players had extremely efficient outings for last year’s runners-up, including Darius Johnson-Odom (Marquette), who finished with 13 points on 5-7 shooting from the field and Elgin Cook (Oregon), who chipped in 10 points on a 4-8 day.
