The Oregon State Beavers looked poised to land two of the nation's top junior college cornerbacks a month ago, but after the decommitment of Jaylon Lane and the South Carolina pledge of Keisean Nixon find themselves looking at prep options.
One key target is Rivals three-star defensive back Tayari Venable, out of Rancho Cucamonga, California, who played alongside Under Armour All-Americans and Oregon Ducks commits Thomas Graham Jr. and Jaylon Redd this fall.
The 6-foot, 180-pound defensive back is a big-time prospect in his own right, and has narrowed his list to a final three of Nevada, Oregon State and Washington State.
