Austin Hudson, a 6-2, 215-pound safety from Tampa, Fla., has officially joined the Oregon State football team, Beaver head coach Gary Andersen announced Wednesday.
Hudson arrives at OSU from the University of South Florida, where he played 11 games last season making eight tackles. He began his collegiate career in 2014 at the University of Wisconsin under then-Badger head coach Gary Andersen. During his lone season in Madison, Hudson was a special teams standout playing in every game making 19 tackles (13 in Big Ten action).
"Austin in an exceptional young man with great character," Andersen said.
