Crescent Valley's Talanoa Hufanga, the nation's No. 1 athlete on Scout and 247Sports, joined "Recruiting with Andrew Nemec" on 1080 The Fan on Thursday evening and cut his list from 10 to a final six.
The 6-foot-1, 200-pound prospect, out of Corvallis, Oregon, included Michigan, Nebraska, Oregon, UCLA, USC and Utah, eliminating Alabama, Notre Dame, Oregon State and Washington in the process.
Hufanga discussed why he cut Oregon State on the radio.
"I grew up a great fan of them," he said. "It kind of switched to that recruiting level... you start to open your options.
