New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick remembers the trade he made to acquire wide receiver Chad Johnson.
It's a memory Belichick would probably prefer to forget.
Belichick was asked about his history of trades with Cincinnati Bengals owner and general manager Mike Brown. Belichick recalled the trade for Johnson in 2011 and threw some shade at the wide receiver.
"Certainly, Mike got the best of the Chad Johnson trade," Belichick told reporters Wednesday. "Still waiting on payback for that one. That's coming."
While Belichick took a shot at Johnson, he was also acknowledging he made a bad deal on an aging wide receiver, perhaps thinking he would get a Randy Moss-like season out of Johnson.
