This coming season, Oregon State Baseball will be without coach Pat Casey for the first time in over 20 years. With Casey moving into an administrative roll within the athletic department, the role of interim head coach has been given to former associate head coach Pat Bailey. A full search for a head coach will be conducted after the 2019 season.
So our basic question is this: was that the right call?
One the one hand, Bailey has been with the program for over a decade at this point, so he knows the program well.
