With just ten days until the WNBA Draft is set to take place, noted “mock draft website” Draftsite.com has been busy updating their 2017 WNBA Mock Draft projections. While just a week ago, Oregon State star Sydney Wiese was projected as the #15 overall pick in the field, the most recent mock draft has seen Wiese’s stock elevated up into the first round, as the projected #6 overall pick.
Wiese’s new position at #6 ranks her behind only Washington’s Kelsey Plum, Maryland teammates Shatori Walker-Kimbrough and Brionna Jones, South Carolina’s Alaina Coates and Washington’s Chantel Osahor.
