The news that Oregon State University and head football coach Gary Andersen parted ways Monday was an event felt beyond the Corvallis campus.
For Oregon State's 2018 recruiting class, the sudden decision was met with shock and confusion, but none of the nine pledges elected to decommit.
Instead many are in wait-and-see mode, or remain committed until they learn more about the situation.
For ESPN four-star quarterback Spencer Petras, the class' headliner, he finds himself somewhere in between the two camps - committed, but unsure what the future holds.
"I'm still committed to Oregon State," he said.
