CORVALLIS – Oregon State sophomore Bridgette Skiba (Portland, Ore.) has been named Top Drawer Soccer's National Player of the Week, the site announced Tuesday.
Skiba recorded seven saves between Oregon State's 1-1 draw at Utah and 2-1 victory over Colorado this week. The goalkeeper saw 35 shots over the course of the two games and made a leaping catch in the final minute of play in Boulder to secure the upset over No. 17 Colorado on the road.
The psychology major has 29 saves in 1014 minutes and is posting a .806 save percentage placing him second in the Pac-12 in save percentage.
