Seth Collins' transfer ends brief, up-and-down Oregon State career

Seth Collins, who started seven games at quarterback for Oregon State in 2015, is transferring, the school announced Friday afternoon.

"Seth has made the decision to transfer and we wish him good luck," Beavers coach Gary Andersen said in a release.

Collins, a dynamic playmaker who led the Beavers with 580 rushing yards and eight touchdowns but completed only 52.2 percent of his passes for for 936 yards, six touchdowns and four interceptions, won the starting job as a true freshman in the Beavers' season opener, before a hyperextended knee in late October forced him to miss four games.
