Seth Collins granted release by Oregon State, no longer with the Beavers

Oregon State has granted junior wide receiver Seth Collins his release, the school announced Thursday.

Collins finished his Beavers career with 48 catches for 548 yards and two touchdowns. He played three games in 2017 before being ruled out indefinitely with what OSU called a "health-related issue."

OSU said in a statement Collins requested the release and is no longer with the team.

The San Diego native was first Gary Andersen recruit to enroll with the Beavers and became their starting quarterback as a freshman in 2015 for six games.
