The Oregon State baseball team began conference play in style over the weekend.
OSU secured the sweep of Arizona State at Phoenix Municipal Stadium on Saturday. The Beavers have now won a school record six consecutive games against ASU dating back to 2016. This series also marked the first time that ASU was swept at home by another Pac-12 team since 1997, and the first time that OSU won a series at ASU since 2008.
After winning the first game of the series 2-0 on Thursday, the Beavers came back on Friday for a 10-1 victory off of 16 hits (a season high), including three a piece for Nick Madrigal, KJ Harrison, and Cadyn Grenier.
