Seattle Seahawks' decision to cut Brandon Browner not a surprise

Brandon Browner's reunion with the Seattle Seahawks and the "Legion of Boom" ended Monday night after the Seahawks announced they had cut the defensive back.

The decision to cut the former Oregon State star didn't come as much of a surprise.

Browner, who signed a one-year, $760,000 contract in April, was clearly on the bubble as teams approached the mandatory cuts that are due to get down to the 75-man limit by 1 p.m. today. None of Browner's money was guaranteed.

Browner didn't play many reps with the first- or second-team defenses during training camp or preseason games.
