Oregon State coach Scott Rueck has been named Pac-12 Coach of the Year, while senior guard Gabby Hanson was tabbed the league's Defensive Player of the Year, senior guard Sydney Wiese and junior post Marie Gulich were All-Pac-12 selections and guard Mikayla Pivec took All-Freshman honors in a vote by the league's coaches.
It's the second time Rueck has been voted for the conference's top honor by his fellow coaches. He guided OSU to a third consecutive Pac-12 title in a season where the Beavers were projected to finish fifth in the league following the departure of 2016 Pac-12 Player of the Year Jamie Weisner and two-time league Defensive Player of the Year Ruth Hamblin.
