Oregon State's Scott Rueck has been named one of four finalists for the Naismith Women's National College Coach of the Year award, the Atlanta Tipoff Club announced Wednesday.
Rueck was a finalist for this award in 2016 and swept the Pac-12 Coach of the Year awards this season. He guided the Beavers to a third consecutive regular-season Pac-12 championship in a season the Beavers were projected to finish fifth in the league following the departure of 2016 Pac-12 Player of the Year Jamie Weisner and two-time league Defensive Player of the Year Ruth Hamblin from last season's Final Four squad.
