CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State junior Ryan Ober has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 team, the College Sports Information Directors of America announced on Thursday.
To be eligible for the honor, student-athletes must have at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average.
Ober, a finance major with a 3.66 cumulative grade point average from Snohomish, Wash., saw action at both third base and designated hitter this season. He played in nine games and collected 10 hits with a double, five runs batted in and three walks. In three seasons with Oregon State, he is batting .
