MIAMI, Fla. – Oregon State head coach Scott Rueck notched his 500th career victory, as the seventh-ranked Beavers took down Liberty 68-55 Saturday afternoon in Miami, Fla.
"It was a battle today," Rueck said. "You have to give Liberty a lot of credit. They came out with great energy, and they put their players in a position to be successful. It was a gut-check at halftime, and our team responded. We took control of the game in the second half, and in the fourth quarter our defense was the difference maker.
