I still don't know whether or not to believe the Oregon Ducks really would send out true freshman quarterback Justin Herbert to start for the first time against fifth-ranked Washington.
There just doesn't seem any way for that to end well.
Herbert has taken nine career snaps as a college football player, which isn't enough experience to be prepared for what a defense like Washington can throw at him.
Oregon's practices are closed, so it's hard to know whether Herbert has been lights out and fifth-year senior Dakota Prukop has been awful. Or whether Prukop's practice habits have been poor.
