After spending two-to-three years fighting for recruiting relevance in the Pac-12 Conference, the Oregon State Beavers football coaching staff has the program going toe-to-toe with their conference counterparts for several recruits in the 2018 cycle.
And winning.
They've nabbed ESPN four-star quarterback Spencer Petras over Cal and rising three-star defensive end Andy Koch over Arizona, Boise State, Colorado and Washington State already in the 2018 cycle.
But Oregon State fans shouldn't expect Gary Andersen to recruit a top-50 class to Corvallis this year.
The Beavers are almost certainly going to finish in the bottom three of the overall Pac-12 recruiting rankings.
