Gabby Hanson knew the season was over as she hugged the departing seniors in the Oregon State locker room after the team's loss to undefeated Connecticut.
Then, she realized her senior year had started.
Coming off the program's first trip to the Final Four, where OSU fell to the No. 1 team 80-51, coach Scott Rueck and the Beavers aim to rebuild after losing five seniors, including star players Jamie Weisner and Ruth Hamblin.
