While it didn’t count toward their Pac-12 record, Oregon State notched their eighth straight win over the Oregon Ducks on Tuesday. The Beavs won the game 4-3 with six hits to Oregon’s three and committed the only error of the game.
All of the Ducks’ scoring came in the bottom of the first from a three-run homer by Kenyon Yovan.
Oregon State got some of those runs back relatively quickly though with a Trevor Larnach solo homer and a Troy Claunch bases-loaded walk in the top of the second. Claunch followed it up with an RBI double in the top of the fourth just before OSU took the lead with a sacrifice groundout by Steven Kwan.
