Rasmussen, Harrison Pace Beavers Over ASU

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Drew Rasmussen struck out eight and KJ Harrison hit his first home run of the season as the fourth-ranked Oregon State baseball team defeated visiting Arizona State, 3-2, Friday night at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.

The game marked the Pac-12 opener for both teams. The Beavers improved to 13-2 on the year, while Arizona State, which saw its eight-game win streak snapped, dropped to 13-4 in 2016.

Harrison unloaded a 3-2 pitch from ASU starter Seth Martinez over the fence in left to put the Beavers up 2-0 in the fourth.
