NEW ORLEANS, La. - Oregon State women's track and field head coach Louie Quintana was named the West Region Women's Coach of the Year for the 2022 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field season by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Thursday.
Quintana, who is in his fifth year of coaching at Oregon State, coached the distance medley relay team of redshirt junior Kaylee Mitchell, sophomore Adael Scatena, senior Mari Friedman, and redshirt junior Grace Fetherstonhaugh to a fourth-place finish and First-Team All-America honors at the NCAA Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Ala.
