Unfortunate news for Beaver nation and baseball fans alike; starting pitcher and former MLB first round draft pick Drew Rasmussen has undergone his second Tommy John Surgery and will miss the upcoming season (according to Kerry Eggers).
The hard throwing righty was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in the first round of the 2017 MLB draft (31st overall), but in an unexpected twist did not sign with the club.
