Pac-12 centralizes replay reviews, keeps Levi's Stadium as title-game host and attempts to shorten games in 2017

HOLLYWOOD -- The Pac-12 is keeping its conference title game at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, through at least 2019, but is making other tweaks to games during the 2017 football season.

The conference has centralized its review of replay for all 12 teams in a San Francisco facility. Last year, it had experimented with centralized replay with two teams, including Oregon.

In addition, it is attempting to shorten the length of games broadcast on Pac-12 Networks by shortening halftime from 20 to 15 minutes, and reducing the amount of commercial breaks. The goal, conference commissioner Larry Scott said Wednesday during his kickoff speech at Pac-12 football media days, is to get game lengths closer to three hours.
