Pac-12 Baseball Team Preview: USC Hoping For Improvement in 2018

Back in 2015, it seemed as if USC baseball was ready for a return to glory after returning to the NCAA tournament for the first time in nearly a decade. The two seasons that followed turned out to be disappointing for Trojan fans. In 2016, USC went .500 with a 28-28 record and then tied for last place in the Pac-12 in 2017 going 21-34. Now in his sixth season, Dan Hubbs needs to see some big improvements from his team in order to get out of the league’s basement.

The area that needs the most refinement is the pitching staff.
