OSU's second-half comeback falls just short

Box Score CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State erased an 11-point second-half deficit but could not finish and fell 60-52 to Colorado on Thursday night before a Gill Coliseum crowd of 4,281.

The Beavers (4-23, 0-14) trailed 46-35 with 7:13 remaining when they went on a 17-6 tear to tie the game 52-52 with 2:10 to play on a Drew Eubanks jumper. However, the Buffaloes (16-11, 6-8) scored the final eight points of the game to pull away.

Gligorije Rakocevic had eight points, Eubanks six in the comeback and both sophomore centers finished in double figures.
