LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Oregon State softball team fell to the No. 13/14-ranked UCLA Bruins, 8-0, in a five-inning series finale on Sunday at Easton Stadium.
UCLA (28-12-1, 9-4-1 Pac-12) scored all eight of its runs over the first three innings, plating one in the first, four in the second and three in the third frame. Oregon State (26-14-1, 5-10 Pac-12) was unable to respond, as UCLA starter Johanna Grauer (13-8) scattered three OSU hits and two walks to hold the Beavers off the board. With the result, UCLA wins the series, two games to one.
