TUCSON, Ariz. – The Oregon State softball team fell to the No. 18/17-ranked Arizona Wildcats, 10-1, in five innings on Sunday in the rubber match of a three-game Pac-12 series at Rita Hillenbrand Memorial Stadium.
The Beavers (28-18-1, 7-14 Pac-12) were stymied by Arizona left-hander Danielle O’Toole (20-10), who allowed one run on three hits in a complete-game effort. The Wildcats’ (34-18, 11-10 Pac-12) offense supported her with 10 runs on eight hits.
Senior righty Bev Miller (12-10) was charged with the loss for Oregon State, as she was on the hook for seven runs in a four-inning start.
