CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State volleyball team has been honored with the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Excellence Award.
The Beavers are one of four teams from the Pac-12 Conference honored, along with Arizona State, Stanford and Utah. Teams were eligible for the honor by maintaining a team grade point average of 3.30 or better during the 2015-16 academic year.
The Beavers finished with a 3.33 mark, including a 3.41 GPA during the spring term.
Oregon State set a Pac-12 record with 12 student-athletes honored academically for the 2015 season. was named first team, followed by on the second team.
